Community Benefits

The podium is designed to provide digital screens for movies in the park, serving the local community and activating this highly anticipated public playground. The screens are intended to simulcast performances from Arsht Center and other cultural institutions in Casa Forma’s art-centric neighborhood as well.

Additional public benefits are numerous. The much-needed parking program will include ~600 parking spaces dedicated for the use of the Miami-Dade County School Board and the Arsht Center and offering congestion relief for the adjacent community. The tower is conscientiously designed with an internal street to mitigate queuing and alleviate traffic, and an extensively landscaped street plan will enhance the experience of all neighbors and visitors to the Arsht Center and the park.

The ground level of the building is generously set back from the street scape. With a new covered public plaza and community-serving retail across from the Arsht Center, as well as the park to the south, Casa Forma not only complements the Miami skyline, but also creates well-integrated areas for public use and activity.

Art

Crescent Heights pays homage to the history of each location as well as its distinctive character, connecting design and art to the native environment. We engage both world-renowned and emerging artists to create interior and exterior artworks for our buildings. Art is introduced in a variety of ways, from public plazas and installations to curated galleries in lobbies, amenity spaces, and interiors.

Curated Retail

Our firm is uncompromising in its efforts to select retail that is uniquely curated to fit the needs and identity of the neighborhood. We strive to craft experiences that are inclusive of everyone by seeking out creative retail partners that can connect authentically with the community.

Intelligent Urban Design

Extraordinary real estate never exists in a vacuum. Context is everything. Our new construction projects, which are built to achieve LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, employ an array of green strategies, including sustainable site design, water use reduction, energy efficiency practices, and thoughtful material selection to both reduce environmental impact and protect indoor air quality.

To decrease traffic congestion and carbon footprint, Crescent Heights focuses on transit-oriented locations and our residences often offer bicycle storage, car and bike-sharing options, electric car-charging stations, and access to various forms of public transportation.
